4th and 5th graders are invited to join us on Wednesday nights for fun, games, and time to connect with friends and Jesus. This time is designed to build friendships and four essential faith skills: hearing from God, praying to God, talking about God, and living for God. Each month we will focus on a life app - a practical application of God's truth. Meet us in the youth commons from 6:30 - 8 PM. RSVP to receive email reminders and updates in the event of date or time changes.
God created us to work together in community. Throughout the Bible, we see how God brought people together to accomplish something big for Him. When we work together, we reflect what Jesus envisioned for His followers. Our love for one another can point people to Him.
Jesus is special because Jesus is God’s Son. Christmas is special because that is when we celebrate God giving us Jesus to be our friend forever. It’s a wonderful time to say, “Happy birthday, Jesus!” and celebrate all that God has done for us.
God’s compassion for the people He created led to the greatest act of love the world has ever seen. God sent His only Son to make us right with Him. We reflect that compassion when we care about others and show them how much God loves them.
As we follow Jesus, His love transforms us. His Spirit gives us the power to show self-control. We can follow His example and choose to do what we should do—instead of what we want to do.
We are made in God’s image, which makes all of us pretty awesome. God knows everything about us, from the exact number of hairs on our head to our unique talents and personalities. God put so much love into making each individual person, so we should value others as much as we value ourselves.
There is no greater friend than one who sacrifices his life for another. Jesus did just that. He died and came back to life so we can be with God forever. It is the most incredible thing that has ever happened. God gave us Jesus. He is alive, and He wants to be our friend forever. He’s the one who will never leave us, never forsake us, and never stop loving us.
God helps us do things we would never think possible—things we can’t even imagine ourselves doing. It can be facing giants like David and forgiving someone who hurt us. Or it can be helping others like Aaron helped
Moses and digging wells in a foreign land. When we trust God to help us, we can do all the big things God made us to do.
It’s important to remember that God’s got it, no matter what happens in life. When we are in the midst of fear and seemingly impossible circumstances, God is there with us. There’s nothing too big or too little for Him. Because God made everything, He can take care of anything.
Parents, if you have a child, 4th grade or older, who is ready to learn about the Lord’s Supper, join us on September 23rd after second service for the Lord's Supper Class. We'll answer questions like: What is the Lord's Supper, Who can take the Lord's Supper, and Why do we take the Lord's Supper?
Hey Parents! Did you know that you are your child’s #1 influencer? We know that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church, and that’s why we want to partner with you. So join us for our Generate Family Experience!
During this time you’ll get a firsthand look at what your kiddos are learning each Sunday, and afterwards you can hang out to have some fun with the family, get to know other parents, and grab some cool resources to keep the conversation going at home! This Event is FREE - Don’t forget to invite your friends and neighbors to join the fun! Snacks will be served.
If you serve with kids or students, or are interested in learning more about serving with kids and students, you don't want to miss this! We are getting pumped to kick off the school year! Join us as we gather to pray, play, and learn together. We'll have games, snacks, prizes, and some time to hear from our Pastoral and NextGen team leaders.
I think we would all agree that going God’s way is best, but when things get hard, it’s not so easy, as we will see with Jonah, Naaman, Josiah, and Gideon. When we know how much God loves us, we can go His way no matter how hard it is. God’s way is perfect.
