SERIES DESCRIPTION: God wants what is best for us. He has called us His children, and given us great things. Because we know that God is good, WE CAN BE HONEST. Lying and cheating are a response to fear. They are what people do if they think no one else will take care of them. But when you trust in God, when you know His love, you have a different response. You can be truthful.

BOTTOM LINE: When you’re not truthful, you lose trust.
WEEK TWO: David and Ahimelek (1 Samuel 21-22)
BOTTOM LINE: When you’re not truthful, you hurt others.
WEEK THREE: Haman’s Plot (Esther 3; 4:8b; 5:6-10; 7:1-6; 9b-10)
BOTTOM LINE: When you lie to help yourself, you hurt yourself instead.
WEEK FOUR: No Secrets with God (1 John 1:9)
BOTTOM LINE: Being truthful with God helps keep you close to Him.
